While you can find almost as many answers to this question as people asked there is one answer that should demand and receive greater attention and value, the one that is yours, formed by you and not the words & thoughts of others. Make no mistake, each answer should be considered and valued however most will miss the mark because they refer to a response offered by someone else and not themselves. This will help to ensure we understand it (man) as we work towards the higher valued answer.
This type of action is taken by physicians, attorney’s and judges in their daily efforts to heal, defend and deliver justice. Tell a physician that you’re sick & he or she will focus on your symptoms, not your complaint; tell an attorney you did not do it and he or she will examine the circumstances involved, giving little attention in the process to your position. Present your case to judge and they will test your evidence before they consider your presentation. None will ignore your perspective but they will detach themselves from all that you share while measuring their perspective & the facts as presented. This deconstruction process is not perfect but it increases the likelihood of the highest and best outcome for everyone involved.
Deconstructing man, in this fashion is essential to understanding him but we can’t limit this process to an examination of anatomy or flesh & bones because there is far more to a man than what is under his skin. Man was created w/intentionality and purpose; he is not an evolutionary happenstance that came to be by accident or a string of ambiguous incidents’. Man is the result of a thought process that defines our capacity to understand or ever comprehend which is why, in part, that some embrace answers to our beginning that are like Swiss cheese and full of holes. In our deconstruction we will see just how complex man is as we compare him to an automobile, to an animal and to plants.
